Hi, I’m Kara!

Practicing sustainable nutrition & movement for over 7 years.

Free from restrictive dieting and rigid food rules.

I'm so glad you're here. My story might sound familiar...

I'm a certified nutrition and wellness coach—but honestly? I'm just someone who's been in the trenches and found my way out.

I know what it's like to feel stuck in the cycle of trying to "do everything right." I've tried Weight Watchers. I've tried Keto. I've tried Carnivore. And while each one promised results, none of them ever felt like something I could sustain for real life. They worked… until they didn't. And they always came with rules, restriction, and that quiet fear of messing up.

What I learned—through a lot of trial, frustration, and self-reflection—is that lasting change doesn't come from extremes. It comes from the simple things we do every day. The things that are repeatable. The things that don't require cutting out foods you love, buying another supplement, or spending hours in the gym. The things that actually honor you and your life.

This is why I care so deeply about helping women break free from diet culture for good. Not by trading one set of rules for another—but by creating habits that are flexible, freeing, and rooted in real life.

And this isn't something I just discovered last year. I've been living this way for over seven years now—no dieting, no rigid food rules—and I've seen firsthand that this approach works. It works because it's livable. It works because it's consistent. And most importantly, it works because it's built to last.

My faith grounds everything I do—it reminds me that I'm already enough, and that this journey is about stewardship, not perfection.

In today's scroll culture, it's easy to believe health has to be complicated—or expensive. That you need the next detox, program, supplement, or perfectly curated routine to be successful. I'm here to tell you: you don't. You already have everything you need to build sustainable habits that work with your life, not against it.

Wellness is about so much more than what's on your plate. It's your mental health, your sleep, how you move your body, the relationships you nurture, and your spiritual foundation. It's the small, consistent choices you make day after day that actually add up to confidence, energy, and freedom.

I won't pretend I've always had it figured out. I've navigated anxiety, disordered eating, and that exhausting need to please everyone. Through therapy and movement, I learned how to take my control back. Walking, Pilates, yoga, stretching—these became tools not for punishment, but for stress management, clarity, and showing up with purpose.

Today, I focus on practicing what I teach: staying rooted in my faith, showing up consistently with nutrition and movement, continuing to learn, and reminding myself that progress—not perfection—is the goal.

I believe in being real with you—because you deserve someone who understands the struggle and is committed to walking this path right alongside you.

Let's build something that lasts—together, one step at a time.
